Announcement of Cost Inflation Index for FY 2023-24

From the Ministry of Finance:

The notification no 21/2023 dated April 10, 2023 has been passed notifying the Cost Inflation Index (CII) u/s 48 of the Income tax Act 1961 for the Assessment Year 2024-25.

The new Sl. No 23 in the Original Notification No. 44/2017 dated June 5, 2017 has been inserted for the Cost Inflation Index No for FY 2023-24 (AY 2024-25):
